Single Use Codes? What are they? How do they work?

Have you ever seen a REALLY long promo code with hyphens between the letters and numbers?

Well, that is how you know you have a single use code!

A single use code is only valid on ONE Amazon account, and then it’s invalid.

Actually, once you paste the promo code into the “Gift Cards, Vouchers & Promotional Codes” box, it applies to your account and invalidates the code, even if you do not check out.

AGAIN- ONCE YOU PASTE THE CODE INTO THE PROMO CODE BOX, NO OTHER AMAZON ACCOUNT CAN USE IT, EVEN IF YOU DECIDED NOT TO COMPLETE YOUR PURCHASE.

This is why it’s very important to always make sure you 100% want to product before claiming a single use code. We only get a limited amount, and would hate to waste one when another member might really want the item.

As with any promo code, after you paste the code (remember no spaces can be before or after it) if the code is valid, you will see the price drop. At that time, you can follow the prompts to complete your purchase.

Single use codes are usually claimed very quickly. If you see a post for a product with single use codes, please be sure to comment UNDER the code you claimed so other members know not to waste time on an invalid code.
